Got a copy of this book cheap. It's a very handsomely presented coffee table book. Or an interesting Sunday afternoon read. The book is written in chronological order from the 1940s up until the present day, and showcases the various stages of evolution of the American Muscle Car, from it's early, humble beginnings in the Oldsmobile 88 and the Rocket V8 all the way to the new ZL1 Camaros and Shelby GT500s. The book is littered with hundreds of pictures, diagrams, old advertisements, and tables. There is no shortage of information about anything in this book, and as a bigtime motorhead myself even I learned quite a bit from the book. If you are a car fan big or small, you'd do well to own a copy of this book!Great book! Gives all the specs for engines and transmissions. Wonderful pictures.
